Review of papers presented at the 9th Deutsche Bildwoche (c. 500 participants), in Köln-am-Rhein, organized by the Zentralinstitut für Erziehung und Unterricht and the Deutsche Bildspielbund. Largely about Volksbildung and schools, with such topics as the creation of slide and film archives of cultural and historical value; the competence of local departments; and the engagement of both professional and amateur photographers to obtain relevant image materials. At the simultaneous exhibition a number of important publishers (Benzinger, Seemann, Rösch) and manufacturers (Zeiss-Ikon, Leitz, AEG, Liesegang, Metallwerk Elektra) presented themselves.
